The late prelude

Yesterday started with a week without practice, which set the tone. I took a photo, but it doesn't really show a piece I can play.

What the notebook says about the metronome in October

I'll admit I played a piece from start to finish without checking anything first. My piano stool turned out to be the most useful thing all week. Doing it at a friend’s house made a real difference.

Halfway through I noticed forgetting the notes. Probably, I was too impatient with the practice room.

I did the boring part first: memorising a page. The goal for October is grade five, and we'll see how that goes.
