About this site

Hello, I'm Oren. Home is a small flat with a view of the rooftops, and most of these posts start there.

You'll see Olive, my piano, in most posts. Olive is my piano, and turns up here a lot.

I write things down here so I stop making the same mistakes, which works about half the time. I've been playing the piano for three years now; it started with a workshop I signed up for on a whim.

It began four years ago with watching my mother, who played every evening at work. The piano is called Olive, which made sense at the time.
